JOB DETAILS
Your main role will be to generate Treasury Revenue from trading activities (both FX and Money Markets), optimizing operations and resources with the corporate/retail sectors of the Bank. You will also be expected to profitably manage the Bank’s FX position while monitoring statutory and internal limits.
Key Result Areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following Key Result Areas:
- Drive sales and generate revenues from FX and Money Markets activity at the corporate and retail levels both locally and internationally for visibility and profitability of the business •Meet customer Treasury requirements and win their loyalty by ensuring customer satisfaction which result to the Bank’s profitability.
- To continuously come up with a pipeline of potential Treasury clients and continuous follow up for conversion to ensure business growth and profitability.
- To continuously come up with new strategies for increasing treasury sales and to develop Treasury products that meet client hedging requirements.
- Support the delivery, availability and visibility of Treasury products across the Bank’s delivery channels.
- Manage the Bank’s FX position while monitoring statutory and internal limits.
- Perform comprehensive market analysis of foreign exchange movements and position the Bank appropriately with a view of making profit for the Bank.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Business related degree from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy treasury dealing room, 2 years of which should be in Currency Trading.
- Good understanding of the Kenyan and Global economy.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Local and International Foreign exchange market.
- Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office applications.
- Must have good analytical and trading skills.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-driven individual, team player and have integrity.
- Must have good Customer Service/Relationship Management skills.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills.
