General Purpose:
The Waiter is responsible for delivering attentive, efficient, and professional service to employees dining staff accommodation facilities. This role ensures that meals are served promptly, accurately, and with warmth, contributing to a positive and welcoming dining experience for a large workforce. By upholding Company’s standards of hospitality and hygiene, the waiter plays a key role in maintaining service excellence and employee satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Tasks:
Daily Operations
· Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
· Assist in buffet service, casual dining outlets, and themed dining concepts.
· Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset for continuous service.
· Handle feedback and minor concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
· Participate in pre-shift briefings to align on service goals and updates.
· Support special staff events, catering, and banquet services as required.
· Assist and perform duties assigned by the Supervisor.
· Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
· Work closely with F&B Attendant, kitchen staff, and supervisors to maintain smooth service flow.
Guest Services
· Deliver high quality products and services to every team member.
· Greet team members courteously and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
· Respond courteously to employee requests and assist in resolving minor concerns.
· Establish a rapport with team members and build good relationships.
· Inform management about team members’ comments.
Company and Department Responsibilities
· Interact with Department and Company employees, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
· Adhere to the Company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
· Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per Department and Company standards at all times.
· Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards.
· Participate in the Company recycling program and follow a strict discipline to reduce, re-use and recycle wherever possible
Qualifications / Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
· Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with POS systems.
· Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
· Fluency in English is mandatory.
