Requirements:  

  • Bachelors degree in software development, computer science, information technology or related field.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as html, css, javascript.
  • Database proficiency, including experience with relational databases like mysql, postgresql, or similar.
  • Ability to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like git.
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with restful apis and integration of third-party services.
  • Understanding of ci/cd pipelines and cloud platforms.


Experience:  

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in web development.
  • Experience in full-stack development is an added advantage.
  • Strong back-end development skills in languages such as php, python, or node.js. Familiarity with mvc frameworks (e.g., laravel).


Salary:   Kshs. 60,000 - 80,000 plus company benefits


Duties/responsibilities:  

  • Web developer main role is to create (build), test and doing troubleshooting website functionality by examining its underlying code.
  • Key responsibilities includes:- develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Design, implement, and manage database systems, including creating and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and data models.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications as necessary.
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required.
  • Optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
