JOB SUMMARY

Role SummaryAs the Weddings & Events Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic account management, client engagement, and event execution. You will be accountable for achieving revenue targets, managing diverse client accounts, organizing memorable events, and identifying new business opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow revenue, ensure client satisfaction, and position the venue as a preferred choice for weddings, corporate functions, and private events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

. Revenue & Sales TargetsAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals through account development, prospecting, and client engagement.Develop strategies to grow revenue from weddings, social events (concerts, festivals, parties), corporate functions (team-building, product launches, end-of-year parties, award ceremonies), and private functions (engagements, gender reveal parties, social clubs).Upsell venue products and services throughout the event lifecycle to maximize revenue.2. Event Management & CoordinationPlan, coordinate, and execute events, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and client expectations.Conduct site inspections and showcase facilities to prospective and existing clients.Liaise with clients to manage all event details, ensuring seamless delivery and post-event feedback.Work closely with operations, catering, and other teams to ensure events are accurately billed and executed efficiently.3. Client Engagement & Account ManagementBuild and maintain strong client relationships through consultative engagement.Track client interactions, update account records, and maintain accurate client profiles.Conduct regular account reviews to identify new opportunities and ensure high retention.4. Marketing & PromotionParticipate in marketing activities, including the development of brochures, social media content, and promotional campaigns.Attend trade shows, networking events, and familiarization visits to promote the venue and grow industry connections.5. Reporting & AnalysisPrepare daily updates, weekly and monthly reports on sales, bookings, and pipeline activities.Monitor conversion rates, average deal size, and revenue contributions to inform strategy improvements.6. Team Collaboration & LeadershipActively participate in sales and event meetings.Support and provide guidance to other members of the events team where necessary.Address recurring client issues and ensure resolution in coordination with relevant teams.7. Additional ResponsibilitiesAttend promotional and marketing activities as required.Perform other duties relevant to your skills as assigned by management.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, Business, or related field.Experience: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in weddings, events, or hospitality sales management.Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, especially with event planners and corporate clients.Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and networking skills.Leadership & Collaboration: Lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and work cross-functionally.Negotiation & Problem Solving: Strong skills to handle objections, resolve issues, and close deals.Travel: Willingness to travel as required.Why This Role MattersThis role directly contributes to the venue’s commercial success.
