They have an incredibly keen eye for design which shows itself in the portfolio of websites they’ve built.Must-Haves (Non-negotiable): Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Computer Science, related fieldExtensive experience with CSS3 & BootstrapAdvanced knowledge and development experience in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery (and/or similar JS libraries), MySQL (or other database management systems) ROLE DESCRIPTION Install, develop, and customize responsive WordPress themes and pluginsAssist with testing, debugging, documentation, and overall quality assurance of WordPress sitesTest website performanceResearch, design, and implement technical specifications for projects based on user requirements as indicated in the scope of work, wireframes, and sitemap documents QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Computer Science, related fieldAt least 3+ years of experience with WordPress theme/plugin development & installationExtensive experience with CSS3 & BootstrapAdvanced knowledge and development experience in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery (and/or similar JS libraries), MySQL (or other database management systems)Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsExperience designing and developing responsive design websitesComfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug & Chrome inspectorProficient understanding of code versioning tools Git, Mercurial, and SVN.Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skillsExperience using Heroku and/or Amazon servicesKnowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
