Job summary

We are seeking a professional, driven, and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Sales team in Kenya. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving adoption of EdTech SaaS solutions, and growing revenue through effective account management and solution selling.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact between Edutech Institute and assigned client accounts
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with schools, educators, and education stakeholders
• Promote and sell Mindspark and ASSET software solutions to schools and learners
• Develop and implement account management and sales strategies to increase revenue
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
• Prospect and follow up on new leads through referrals, outreach, events, and networking
• Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate the value proposition of the solutions
• Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support
• Track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools
• Monitor performance against sales targets and ensure timely achievement of objectives
• Gather customer feedback and success stories to support sales and marketing efforts

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or B2B Sales professional, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or technology-based solutions
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal sales, product, and support teams
• Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills and a client-first mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Confident, reliable, and results-driven professional
• Outstanding negotiation and closing skills
• Trustworthy, analytical, and a critical thinker
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand and address client needs
