This is an entry level position in our accounting department. You will be joining a team of 3 to provide a client contact role

Job Description/Requirements
Accounting
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Ensure that records comply with laws and regulations.
- Compute and prepare tax returns, V.AT., P.A.Y.E Income & Withholding Tax, ensuring timely payments.
- Timely posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are up to date.
- Ensure all statutory details are accurate and paid on time.
- Processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to
- legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases promptly to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and reports.
- Petty Cash Issuance and control and reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts ensuring cashflow is sustained.
HR & Admin Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding new staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance / Accounting/HR).
- CPA Level 2
- 2 years’ Experience working as accountant/ Human resource officer in an SME•
- Knowledge in Accounting software, Wingubox
