Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper books of accounts, supporting audits, managing receivables/payables, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
· Prepare and reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
· Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and staff reimbursements.
· Track customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances in coordination with the Sales team.
· Prepare and submit statutory returns (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, KEBS LEVY and withholding tax) on time.
· Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation.
· Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
· Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
· Monitor and control petty cash disbursements.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· CPA K or higher qualification preferred.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or hospitality supplies sectors.
· Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
