JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Managing Director, performs a number of clerical and support work as assigned from time to time including managing the school main telephone lines, Reception and enrollment of new students.  Welcoming and following up on enquiries made by potential parents and ensuring reception is manned during official working hours.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Managing reception and Welcoming visitors.
  2. Managing the main School lines.
  3. Following up on enquiries made by potential parents.
  4. Ensuring that Teachers records are properly filed in an organized manner.
  5. Maintain record of New student admissions.
  6. Ensuring that any banking slips are forwarded via whatsapp and properly filed
  7. Preparing accurate minutes of meetings.
  8. Maintain class room Key distribution register.
  9. Handle confidential information with security.
  10. Maintain record of the school inventory.
  11. Maintain record of students who have left the school.
  12. Maintain the Notice Board to project the school theme and ensure old records are removed.
  13. Ensure the proper hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the school.
  14. Capture pictorial and video of various school activities for use in social media.
  15. Monitor and respond to Facebook, Whatsapp and TickTock enquiries.
  16. Monitor and respond to email info@twiddlepipsjuniorschool.com
  17. Organize and participate in the school marketing activities.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  1. Computer Skills.
  2. One year secretarial experience.
  3. Ability to communicate issues effectively.

KNOWLEDEGE:

  1. Experience in Working with Parents and Children
  2. Able to maintain records and prepare reports
  3. Book keeping / receipt keeping of expenditures
  4. Knowledge of office practices
  5. Pro-efficient in both written and spoken English.
  6. Ability to interact with employees and public with tact, courtesy and discretion
