General Purpose
Our client, a leading and rapidly growing dental hospital, is seeking to recruit an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Clinical Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational functions of its healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving quality patient care, strengthening regulatory compliance, optimizing clinical workflows, and leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional healthcare service delivery.
Location: Nairobi| Gross Salary: Ksh. 130,000 – Ksh. 180,000
Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality healthcare service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, healthcare policies, and operational procedures.
• Monitor and continuously improve patient care standards, service quality, and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate clinical workflows, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to maximize operational
efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance healthcare delivery and productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise clinical and operational teams to drive high performance.
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff development initiatives.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and ethical conduct.
• Foster a positive, patient-centered workplace culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, legal requirements, and professional practice standards.
• Maintain operational compliance with all relevant healthcare regulatory authorities.
• Oversee quality assurance, risk management, incident reporting, and corrective action processes.
• Prepare operational reports and performance dashboards for management review.
• Manage departmental budgets, operational planning, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate procurement and efficient utilization of medical and operational resources.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic healthcare initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, suppliers, and
regulatory bodies.
• Address operational challenges and patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines; Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration.
• Master's Degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business
Administration (MBA), or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, hospital administration, or a related healthcare environment.
• Proven experience managing clinical teams, healthcare operations, and service delivery systems.
• Strong experience in compliance management, policy implementation, quality assurance, reporting, and performance monitoring.
