Job Overview:

As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner. You will work in collaboration with other kitchen staff to ensure all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standard. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines
• Monitor food stock levels and order ingredients as needed
• Set up and clean workstations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow restaurant policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure
• Be willing to work in a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a cook or similar role
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes to the highest standard
• Knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Physical Demands:

The cook must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. The work environment may be hot and noisy, and the successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
