Dairy Farm Veterinarian (Relocation Provided)
Job summary
A well-established, modern dairy farming operation in Greece is seeking an experienced Veterinarian for long-term employment. Kenyan candidates are welcome.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Full veterinary supervision of the dairy cattle herd
· Disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
· Reproductive management (fertility programs, calving, artificial insemination)
· Udder health management and milk quality control
· Implementation of animal health, welfare, and biosecurity protocols
· Cooperation with farm management and livestock nutrition specialists
Requirements & Technical Skills:
· Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
· Minimum 5 years of experience in professional dairy cattle farming
· Pregnancy diagnosis using ultrasound
· Assistance during calving, including dystocia management
· Ability to perform obstetrical procedures, including caesarean sections
· Planning and administration of vaccination programs
· Strong knowledge of modern dairy herd health and reproduction management
· Good communication skills, supervisory management skills
· English required (Greek not mandatory)
· Willingness to relocate and work on-site
