DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVER - NAIROBI

General Purpose

Our client, a fast-growing Trading & Distribution Company, is seeking experienced, disciplined, and safety-conscious Delivery Truck Driver to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of goods to customers across Nairobi while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with traffic regulations.

Gross Salary: Ksh. 29,800

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely, accurately, and on schedule to customers.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and delivery notes.
• Load, transport, and offload goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults promptly.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and Kenyan traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer acknowledgements.
• Handle customers professionally and represent the company positively during deliveries.

Requirements & Qualifications

• KCSE (Form 4) Certificate.
• Valid Class C1 Driving License.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• At least 5 years' experience as a Delivery Truck Driver.
• Excellent knowledge of Nairobi roads and traffic regulations.
• Good driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and offloading goods where required.
• Honest, dependable, punctual, and customer-focused.
