DEPUTY PRINCIPAL – JUNIOR SCHOOL
Job summary
The Deputy Principal – Junior School will provide dedicated leadership for the Junior School, with particular emphasis on learner development, CBC implementation and effective teaching and learning.

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in CBC implementation in the Junior School.
- Understanding of competency-based assessment and learner-centred approaches.
- Ability to supervise and support teachers in effective classroom practice.
- Strong understanding of child development and learner welfare.
- Ability to monitor learner progress and identify learning needs.
- Excellent classroom observation and instructional leadership skills.
- Ability to work closely with parents and guardians.
- Strong learner discipline and safeguarding skills.
- Ability to coordinate Junior School activities, assessments and programmes.
- Commitment to nurturing learners academically, socially, morally, spiritually and emotionally.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must:
1. Be committed and practicing Catholics with a strong personal commitment to Christian values and the Catholic and Lasallian mission.
2. Have a minimum of two (2) years proven experience in a similar school leadership position.
3. Possess excellent leadership, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
4. Be visionary, innovative, decisive, accountable and capable of inspiring others.
5. Be well versed in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and its implementation.
6. Demonstrate a strong understanding of competency-based assessment and learner-centred education.
7. Have demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, mentor and motivate teaching and non-teaching staff.
8. Demonstrate excellent discipline and learner-management skills.
9. Have a strong commitment to child safeguarding, learner welfare and holistic formation.
10. Demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and accountability.
11. Be computer literate and able to effectively use technology in school administration, communication and learning.
12. Meet the relevant TSC and other statutory professional requirements.
