Job descriptions & requirements

A. Long-Term Business Strategy and Storytelling

  • Value Chain Documentation: Regularly visit and document all project sites, including the Pipeline Kiosk (as one of the key collection points) and other processing/client locations, to tell the full story of diversified waste streams and their final use.
  • Goal Alignment: Develop and execute an ongoing content and marketing strategy that supports long-term business metrics (supplier growth, diverse material tonnage collected, and revenue earned).
  • Communication Lead: Manage all official digital communications, including overseeing the revamp and maintenance of the project website, ensuring consistent brand identity.


B. Waste Management Services Focus (All Waste Types)

  • Supplier Acquisition: Design and run targeted digital campaigns (using the Ads Budget) to attract new suppliers for all accepted waste types (plastics, organics, etc.) and increase drop-off frequency at various collection points.
  • Transparency & Trust: Ensure clear communication of requirements and pricing for all materials across all platforms to optimize collection quality and volume.
  • Impact Metrics: Capture and share success stories and verifiable metrics (total waste diverted, materials recycled/composted, payments made) that validate the broad environmental and economic contribution.


C. Tools, Reporting, and Brand Integrity

  • Hardware Utilization: Effectively utilize company-provided digital assets (laptops and mobile devices) for high-quality content production, reporting, and remote communication from all client sites.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand presentation across the website, social media, and physical Kiosk signage at all sites.
  • Reporting: Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics (cost per acquisition, ad ROI) and provide reports demonstrating how digital efforts are translating into increased supply and business revenue.


3. Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in digital marketing or business communications.
  • Logistical Ability: Proven ability to manage field work and travel to multiple operational sites within Nairobi to document diverse waste management processes.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate complex business operations into compelling digital campaigns.
  • Sector Interest: Strong interest or background in waste management, sustainability, or environmental services.
