The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), is an independent Commission set up under Article of the Constitution of Kenya . Its core mandate is to recommend the basis for equitable sharing of revenues raised nationally between the national and the county governments, and among the county governments. FUNCTIONS OF CRA The functions of the Commission include: 1. Recommend the basis of equitable sharing of revenue raised by national government between national and county governments. 2. Recommend the basis of equitable sharing of revenue raised by national government among county governments. 3. Recommend on matters concerning the financing of both the national government and county governments. 4. Recommend on matters concerning financial management of both national and county governments. VISION A trusted and effective adviser on equitable distribution of resources for rapid and balanced economic growth. MISSION To make recommendations on equitable sharing of revenue, financing of, and financial management for both national and county governments.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing transportation services to the executive officers comprising of Commissioners and staff, timely and consistent maintenance of assigned vehicles, maintenance of assigned work ticket and ensuring the security of the vehicle on and off the road.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Ensure the security of the assigned official vehicle on and off the road. Drive motor vehicles as authorized. Carry out routine checks on the vehicles, detect & report any malfunctions. Maintain their assigned work tickets and keep accurate records of their daily activities. Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles. Analyze delivery addresses and decide on the appropriate routes to take to maintain schedule. Adhere to company operating policies and procedures in the use and maintenance of the vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS 

Possession of KCSE D minus or its equivalent Valid Driving License Possession of First Aid /Ambulance course will be added advantage

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

Accident free driving experience in the last three years. Be a person of integrity and effective interpersonal skills.
