Job summary
The Electric Motorbike Sales Attendant will drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. The primary territory covers Nairobi Eastlands and the wider Nairobi Region. The main goal is to pitch and sell eco-friendly electric motorbikes (e-motorbikes) to bodaboda riders, delivery/courier companies, and private individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

- Field Prospecting: Visit bodaboda stages, logistics hubs, and open markets across Eastlands (e.g., Donholm, Buruburu, Kayole, Umoja) and Nairobi to actively recruit new customers.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct live product demos to explain how e-motorbikes work, their economic benefits, charging methods, and battery-swapping technology.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales quotas set by the company management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Attend to customer inquiries professionally, handle complaints, and maintain a robust pipeline of repeat clients.
- Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from the field regarding customer preferences, price sensitivity, and competitor activities within Nairobi.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in field sales (direct sales). Experience in the automotive, motorbike, or renewable energy industries is highly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Swahili, and Sheng (crucial for effectively engaging the bodaboda community in Eastlands).
- Geographical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Nairobi Eastlands and the general Nairobi transport networks.
- Riding License: Possession of a valid driving/riding license (Class A) is a significant advantage.
