Job Description/Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in general agriculture from a recognized institution.

  • At least two years’ experience.

  • Good communication skills

  • Age between 22 yrs -26yrs.

  • Someone with an interest in learning agriculture skills.




Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assigning responsibilities to junior employees.

  • Prepare land management schedules

  • Land preparation.

  • Advice on use of pesticides, manure and fertilizer.

  • Advice on seed propagation.

  • Record keeping of harvest and identify best seeds versus output for future references.

  • Arrange planting, weeding and harvest schedules.

  • Preparation of post-harvest stores.

  • Organize fencing of land.

  • Any other duty as assigned.
