We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, safety, and performance of our school transport fleet. The successful candidate will ensure that all vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering reliable transport services to our clients.

Location: Delight Adventures Limited – One Stop Plaza, Langata Road
Position: Fleet Manager – School Transport
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school transport fleet.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle availability and minimize downtime.
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and maintenance costs, and implement measures to improve efficiency.
Supervise drivers and bus assistants, ensuring adherence to company policies, road safety regulations, and customer service standards.
Ensure all vehicles have valid insurance, inspection certificates, licenses, and other statutory documentation.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate fleet records, including servicing, repairs, fuel usage, mileage, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate vehicle inspections and ensure defects are addressed promptly.
Monitor GPS tracking systems and driver performance to promote safe and efficient operations.
Prepare weekly and monthly operational and performance reports.
Work closely with management to optimize fleet utilization and support business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics,
Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a commercial fleet, preferably
in school transport or passenger transport operations.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet management systems, and transport regulations.
Experience supervising drivers and managing operational teams.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fleet management software.
Valid driving licence (Class B or higher) is an added advantage.
