JOB LOCATION:GIGIRI

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, and hedges, ensuring they are healthy and well-kept.
• Regularly water plants, mow the lawn, trim shrubs, weed flower beds, and remove dead or overgrown vegetation.
• Clean outdoor areas, including pathways, driveways, verandas, and other exterior spaces.
• Collect and dispose of garden waste and litter appropriately.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides as required, following safety procedures.
• Monitor the garden for signs of pests or disease and report any concerns promptly.
• Assist with planting new flowers, trees, or vegetables as needed.
• Carry out minor landscaping tasks and seasonal garden care (e.g., pruning, mulching).
• Report any maintenance issues in the garden or outdoor areas to the supervisor.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
• Ability to use and maintain common gardening tools (e.g., lawnmower, shears, hosepipe, rake, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance
• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual work for extended periods
• Honest, hardworking, and punctual
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Residing near Gigiri or willing to commut
