Job Title: Global Securities Dealer
Location: Nairobi
Role Summary: The Global Securities Dealer at Lofty-Corban Investments Limited will be responsible for executing trades to generate profit across various asset classes including Fixed income, equities, FX, Commodities and derivatives, managing risk and building client relationships. The dealer will be required to have deep market knowledge, analytical skills, and strict compliance with financial regulations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Trading and Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for securities including stocks, bonds, currencies, derivatives and commodities.
  
• Portfolio & Risk Management: Monitor real-time profit and loss (P&L) and manage exposure by implementing hedging strategies to mitigate market volatility.
  
• Market Analysis: Conduct detailed research on macroeconomic indicators, geopolitical events, and technical trends to provide real-time commentary to clients.
  
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients advising them on investment strategies and market conditions.
  
• Product Development: Contribute to creating new financial market products and improving existing ones.
  
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all transactions adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, Business or related field
  
• Valid ATS certification; ACI Dealing certificate or other relevant certifications highly preferred
  
• CISI Level 2 qualification
  
• At least 2 years of experience financial markets and trading.
  
• Strong understanding of local and global financial markets, instruments and risk management principles
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
