General Purpose
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and results oriented HORECA Van Sales Representative to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence within the Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering (HORECA) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, ensuring timely product deliveries, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Location: Nairobi| Gross Salary: Ksh.60,000
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and grow sales within the assigned HORECA territory.
• Conduct daily customer visits to hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, and other food service outlets.
• Identify and recruit new HORECA customers to expand market coverage.
• Receive customer orders and ensure timely delivery of products using the assigned sales van.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Promote the company's product portfolio and introduce new products to customers.
• Monitor stock levels in the sales van and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Ensure timely collection of customer payments in accordance with company credit policies.
• Prepare daily sales, route, and customer visit reports.
• Achieve monthly sales, distribution, and revenue targets.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Van Sales, preferably serving HORECA clients within the FMCG
or food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience managing Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering (HORECA) accounts.
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi and its surrounding markets.
