Key Responsibilities
  1. Overall Operations Management:
Oversee all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, Security, and Sales to ensure seamless, integrated operations and the highest level of guest satisfaction.

2. Financial Performance:

Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and GOP.
3. Guest Experience & Quality Assurance:
Uphold and enhance the hotel’s five-star service standards. Proactively address guest feedback, ensure consistent quality across all touchpoints, and maintain the hotel’s luxury brand image.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, diverse team. Foster a positive, professional, and guest-centric culture. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and career development for all staff.
5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies that drive occupancy, enhance market positioning, and promote the hotel’s facilities and services.
6. Compliance & Safety:
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, licensing, and legal regulations. Maintain the highest standards of safety and security for guests, staff, and property.
7. Vendor & Stakeholder Relations:
Manage relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and local community stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CHA) is a strong advantage.
  2. Minimum of 2–4 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (e.g., Hotel Manager, Resident Manager, or Director of Operations) within a five-star international hotel brand.
  3. Proven track record of achieving financial targets, managing budgets, and driving operational excellence.
  4. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high-performing team.
  5. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  6. In-depth knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and MS Office.
  7. Impeccable communication skills in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Swahili or additional languages is beneficial.
  8. A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.
