Responsibilities:
● Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
● Handle reservations efficiently, ensuring accurate room assignments and guest information.
● Process check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
● Issue room keys and handle guest requests for amenities or services.
● Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
● Provide recommendations for restaurants, activities, and things to do in Nairobi.
● Manage incoming calls, directing them to appropriate departments.
● Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
● Process payments and handle cash transactions.
● Uphold high standards of guest service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation systems a plus.
● Positive and friendly attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Fluency in English and Swahili, additional languages considered an asset
