JOB TITLE: HR INTERN
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
SALARY: KSHS.17,000
JOB LOCATION: ALONG MOMBASA ROAD
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on job portals and social media.
- Screen applications, shortlisting candidates based on job requirements.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Help maintain the recruitment database and track candidate progress.
Onboarding & Employee Orientation:
- Prepare onboarding documents and induction materials for new hires.
- Coordinate orientation sessions and assist in welcoming new employees.
- Ensure all HR records and systems are updated with new employee information.
HR Administration & Documentation:
- Maintain and organize HR files, both physical and digital.
- Update HR databases, attendance, leave, and employee records.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics for management review.
Employee Engagement & Internal Communications:
- Support internal communication initiatives, such as newsletters or updates.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and team-building events.
- Collect employee feedback and assist in improving workplace culture.
Training & Development Support:
- Assist in scheduling training sessions and workshops.
- Support the HR team in monitoring employee participation and training records.
General HR Support:
- Assist the HR team with ad-hoc projects and assignments.
- Handle day-to-day HR queries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Support compliance with company policies and procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or related field.
- At least 3–6 months of HR attachment or internship experience.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of HR tools and MS Office Suite.
