Key Responsibilities
- Teach History and Geography in accordance with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
- Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
- Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
- Promote inquiry-based and learner-centered teaching approaches.
- Integrate ICT into classroom instruction.
- Participate in co-curricular and school activities.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Education.
- Experience in IGCSE curriculum – Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel.
- Must be TSC registered.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Good ICT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils.
- Clean child protection record.
- Excellent curriculum and classroom management knowledge & skills.
- Experience handling candidate classes is preferable.
