To plan, prepare, and deliver effective Kiswahili and History instruction in accordance with the approved curriculum, while promoting academic excellence, discipline, and holistic learner development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver learner-centred lessons in Kiswahili and History in line with the approved curriculum.
2. Prepare and maintain professional teaching records including schemes of work, lesson plans, records of work, and assessment reports.
3. Assess, evaluate, and accurately record learner performance and provide timely feedback.
4. Maintain effective classroom management and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
5. Identify learners’ academic needs and provide appropriate guidance and academic support.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and curriculum implementation activities.
7. Contribute to co-curricular programmes and other school activities as assigned.
8. Uphold school policies, professional ethics, and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) code of conduct.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Arts) with Kiswahili and History as teaching subjects from a recognized institution.
· Valid TSC Registration Number (mandatory).
· Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
Skills and Competencies
· Strong instructional delivery and classroom management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
· High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to learner development.
