Job Description Job Purpose: Sales manager strives to ensure that the business that he handles is grown profitably, be a partner representative to the vendor and strategize to ensure maximum market penetration and increase customer delight. Job Responsibilities: 1. Liaise with key partners on stocking and initiate ordering process.1. Prospecting new potential clients and onboarding them into our system.2. Fulfilling Vendor/Brand positioning in the partners outlets and market3. Customer Relations management: -Engaging with customer on periodic basis, Understanding needs and giving Solutions, dealing with the issues and addressing them through engagement with relevant stake holders4. Structuring of credit deals for the customers5. Customer Account management – Understanding the customer buying pattern, managing stocks accordingly, Planning the business as per the stock availability, minimizing aging stock, etc.6. Sales planning and execution – Plan the sales basis the existing customers, plan stocks, educate about the new products, monitor competitors activities, negotiate a win-win deal, following up with customers to closure of deal, ensuring repeat business,7. Stakeholder management: - Managing the stake holders, complying with the requirements of different bodies, co-operating with stake holders while safeguarding the organizations and customer interest, etc.8. Team management: - Ensuring that the team gets the desired support, Investing in their growth and supporting them to overcome Individual and Business Challenges, being a mentor and a coach to attain organizational goals, Create/ follow beat plan for the sales team9. Sales Operation –Sales documentation (RFP, SO, RFQ, etc.), following up with the stake holders (Credit- for approval, limits, etc., and Logistics- timely delivery, etc.) to ensure that the transactions are seamless10. Data Management and analysis: - Maintaining sales records, doing analysis, presenting the finds to the senior management and auctioning on the same.11. Follow up with the customers and ensuring that the payments are received on time (minimizing over dues)12.
