Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths/Geography Teacher who is TSC registered to join our academic team. The ideal candidate must be committed to delivering high-quality education in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and be fully aligned with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) framework. The teacher will be responsible for nurturing learners’ academic growth, critical thinking, and real-world application of concepts.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Geography lessons in line with the CBE and 8-4-4 curriculum.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress through continuous assessment tools.
• Develop and use innovative teaching methods, learning aids, and technology to enhance learning.
• Identify learners’ strengths and areas for improvement and provide appropriate support.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, and school activities.
• Maintain discipline and uphold school policies and values.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on learner progress.
• Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• TSC Registration – Mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education (Maths & Geography) or related field.
• Proven teaching experience in Mathematics and/or Geography.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Competency-Based Education (CBE).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic school environment.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to learner success.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability.
• Strong subject mastery in Mathematics and Geography
