Job Description/Requirements
WE ARE HIRING! MUSIC TEACHER.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach music theory and practical lessons across different age groups.
• Instruct learners in at least three musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, recorder, drums, etc.).
• Prepare students for performances, assemblies, concerts, and competitions.
• Develop engaging, learner-centred music lessons that promote creativity and confidence.
• Identify and nurture musical talents through clubs, ensembles, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain instruments and ensure responsible use of music resources.
• Work collaboratively with the arts department to enrich the school’s cultural programs.
Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma or Degree in Music Education or a related discipline.
• Ability to play and teach a minimum of three musical instruments.
• Experience teaching children in a school setting is an added advantage.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for learner development.
• Strong communication, creativity, and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and holistic education.
