DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Childcare Duties
  • Provide daily care, supervision, and support for children.
  • Ensure children’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
  • Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and general childcare routines.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate, safe, and educational activities.
  • Monitor children’s behavior and report any concerns to the employer.

Household Cleaning and Organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the house.
  • Clean and organize children’s rooms, play areas, clothing, and belongings.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene in all assigned areas.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as required.

Cooking and Meal Preparation
  • Prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals for children and household as directed.
  • Assist with feeding children when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and cooking utensils after use.
  • Follow dietary instructions and household preferences.

General Support Duties
  • Follow daily instructions from the employer accurately and responsibly.
  • Assist with laundry for children and household items where required.
  • Maintain a well-organized and structured daily routine.
  • Support other household tasks as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • KCSE Certificate (minimum requirement).
  • Previous experience as a nanny, house help, or in childcare is an added advantage.
  • Experience handling toddlers and young children preferred.
  • Strong childcare and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent cooking skills.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, order, and hygiene standards.
  • Well-organized, neat, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
