Global Capability is seeking a Permanent Recruiter to support US-based tech clients by sourcing and placing top talent across Engineering, IT, and Software roles. This is a specialist recruiter role—we are only considering candidates with experience in niche, technical recruitment. Generalist recruitment experience will be considered.

Job Title: Permanent Recruiter – US Tech Clients
Company: Global Capability Limited
Location: Viewpark Towers, Nairobi (Office-Based, 10k transport allowance)
Working Hours: US Eastern Time (08:30 – 17:30 ET) → Nairobi Time: 16:30 – 01:30 EAT
Salary: KES 60,000 gross per month during probation, increasing to KES 65,000 after probation
Commission Structure: KES 15,000 – 35,000 per placement

Overview

You will work closely with US recruitment teams, identifying, engaging, and submitting highly qualified candidates for both permanent and permanent opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Kenya-based team, with potential for long-term career progression into senior recruitment or team lead roles as the operation expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and identify qualified candidates in Engineering, IT, and Software through LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to potential candidates, gathering key information on skills, experience, and availability.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/CRM systems.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for US-based clients.
  • Collaborate with US recruiters to prioritise open roles and hand over candidates efficiently.
  • Track daily and weekly sourcing activity, reporting metrics to the team lead.
  • Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience aligned with client expectations.
Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in recruitment (Engineering, IT, Software preferred) within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience recruiting for permanent technical roles.
  • University graduate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Boolean search, and job boards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ATS/CRM systems and tracking recruitment metrics.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to collaborate effectively with international teams.
