DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plumbing Installation & Maintenance
  • Install and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, tanks, and pumps
  • Service and repair water supply and drainage systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and system failures

Filtration Systems Specialist Duties
  • Install, configure, and service water filtration and purification systems
  • Monitor water quality performance and adjust systems for optimal output
  • Clean, replace, and maintain filtration components and media

Fault Diagnosis & Repairs
  • Inspect systems to identify leaks, blockages, pressure, or contamination issues
  • Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and apply effective repair solutions
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing and filtration breakdowns

Technical Interpretation & Planning
  • Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and system schematics
  • Assist in planning installation layouts for new or upgraded systems
  • Ensure all work aligns with technical specifications and standards

Compliance, Safety & Quality Control
  • Follow plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and environmental standards
  • Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and filtration materials
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship with fully tested installations

Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Report major faults and recommend system improvements
  • Track materials used and request supplies when needed

Client & Site Interaction
  • Communicate progress and technical updates to clients or supervisors
  • Provide basic guidance on system use and maintenance
  • Maintain professionalism across all work sites and interactions

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Certificate in Plumbing or related field
  • Proven hands-on experience as a plumber (preferably 2+ years)
  • Specialized experience in filtration or water treatment systems
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and safety practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and precision in work
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in varied environments
