DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND ICT
8. Principal Enforcement Officer JOB GROUP ‘N’ (CPSB 6) ONE (1) POST ADVERT NO: 116/2020
Terms of Service : Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary : Kshs. 56, 370 - Kshs. 87,360 p.m.
House Allowance : Kshs. 15,400 p.m.
Commuter Allowance : Kshs. 8,000 p.m.
Medical Cover : Comprehensive Medical Cover
a) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
i. Experience of at least six (6) years in enforcement duties;
ii. Bachelor’s Degree in the any following disciplines: Security Management; Criminology; Social Work, Psychology, Arts (Penology) or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
iii. A fitness medical certificate from a public hospital;
iv. Certificate in specialized training in Prosecution and Investigation Skills from a recognized institution;
v. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of criminal investigation;
vi. A valid certificate in Basic First Aid from a recognized institution;
vii. Certificate in Computer Applications.
b) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Developing and implementing policy on enforcement and compliance;
ii. Conducting investigations on non-compliance cases;
iii. Adducing evidence in Court where necessary;
iv. Receiving and scrutinizing charge sheets from investigation officers;
v. Handling all County drills and parade matters; and
vi. Maintaining discipline of staff in the directorate.
