Job Purpose


Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our esteemed client in the Retail Fashion industry, is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Product Development & B2B Sales Manager to lead business-to-business sales, custom product development projects, and corporate client partnerships. The Product Development & B2B Sales Manager will manage the full client engagement cycle from initial briefing to product delivery ensuring timely execution and strong commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that demands strong coordination skills, excellent client management experience, and the ability to translate client briefs into viable products while driving institutional sales growth.



Key Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with institutional and corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Convert client briefs into practical product solutions by working closely with designers, production teams, and internal partners, while considering cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare accurate quotations and pricing proposals, manage client expectations responsibly, and follow through on B2B sales leads and opportunities.
• Track and coordinate all project milestones starting from sampling, costing, approvals, production, dispatch, and delivery to ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding pricing, feasibility, timelines, and product specifications.
• Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on sales performance, project status, and key client activities to senior management.



Qualifications
✓ Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate gifting, hospitality uniforms,
merchandise, or related fields
✓ Experience preparing B2B quotations and managing commercial terms
✓ Demonstrated experience managing corporate or institutional clients and sales cycles
✓ Experience working with factories, production teams, or artisans
✓ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, designers, production, dispatch, and
finance teams.
✓ Capability to translate client briefs into costed and feasible product solutions
