Requirements:

Experience:
At least five years’ experience in project-based or specification-driven sales within the paint industry. However, candidates with project sales experience from other sectors will also be considered.
Salary:
KShs. 150,000–180,000 plus company benefits.
Duties:
The project sales executive’s main role is to grow project business by developing and managing strong relationships with architects, quantity surveyors, engineers, specifiers, interior designers, project management consultants, developers, and contractors across Kenya. Key responsibilities include:
Market development and brand positioning:
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with architects, consultants, engineers, interior designers, developers, and contractors in Kenya. Ensure company products are approved in major construction projects, including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial developments. Build company brand visibility within key professional bodies such as AAK, IQSK, EBK, and related industry forums. Continuously identify, engage, and retain active influencers within the Kenyan construction and projects ecosystem.
Sales growth and project acquisition:
Identify, map, and track small, medium, large, and mega construction projects across the country. Drive project sales from the specification stage through tendering, negotiation, and execution. Achieve agreed sales targets, margins, and specification objectives in line with annual business plans. Promote and sell high-value coating systems suitable for local environmental and regulatory conditions. Work closely with distributors, contractors, and internal sales teams to ensure successful project conversion.
Project coordination and execution:
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and key stakeholders. Coordinate with technical, production, logistics, and finance teams to support timely delivery and execution of projects. Monitor project progress and proactively address commercial or technical challenges. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
Market intelligence and reporting:
Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, specifications, and upcoming developments within Kenya. Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive project pipeline and customer database. Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity updates to management.
