Job Overview
The International Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities for clients across the African and GCC markets. The role involves sourcing, screening, and deploying candidates for overseas assignments while ensuring compliance with visa, labour, and deployment regulations. This position requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. The role involves 50% travel and 50% office/remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end international recruitment for African and Gulf region requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, databases, referrals, recruitment drives, and international campaigns.
- Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates in line with client specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and overseas partners for workforce planning and deployment.
- Handle visa processes, documentation, medicals, mobilization, and deployment logistics.
- Monitor recruitment targets, timelines, and delivery KPIs.
- Maintain accurate candidate records using ATS and recruitment tracking tools.
- Stay updated on Africa and GCC labour market trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring regulations.
- Conduct and participate in local and international recruitment campaigns as required.
- Ensure compliance with ethical recruitment practices and local/international labour laws.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in international recruitment, preferably within Africa and GCC markets.
- Prior experience with a manpower agency or recruitment consultancy serving African and GCC clients.
- Strong knowledge of African & Gulf labour markets, visa procedures, and deployment logistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment tools / ATS platforms.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for recruitment drives, client coordination, and overseas assignments.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic, Swahili, or other regional languages is a strong advantage.
