Job summary
Hello Vietnam is looking for a skilled and dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations while ensuring food safety, consistency, and excellent presentation.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet customer expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen deliveries
- Work closely with the kitchen team during service hours
- Minimize food waste and ensure proper portion control
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, disciplined, and time-conscious
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

- Culinary training or hospitality certificate
- Experience working in a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen
