Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy and customer-focused Retail Associate to support in-store sales, digital marketing, inventory, and e-commerce operations.

Job Description/Requirements
Salary: KSh 30,000 Gross**
Client: Leading Bookstore & E-commerce Brand
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Assist customers, recommend books, and promote offers.
- Upsell/cross-sell to meet sales targets.
- Register and support loyalty program users.
Inventory & Store Operations
- Receive, label, and arrange stock (including Kenyan authors).
- Conduct shelf checks, restock, and maintain store cleanliness & displays.
- Ensure accurate physical vs. online stock.
Digital & E-commerce Support
- Upload books with optimized descriptions & captions.
- Manage online orders: packing, dispatch & customer updates.
- Track fast-moving titles and suggest online promotions.
Marketing & Events
- Take quality photos/videos for Instagram & Facebook.
- Support book signings, reading corners & school activations.
- Assist in themed displays and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business—added advantage.
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service & organizational skills.
- Creative, tech-savvy (POS, e-commerce, social media).
- Passionate about books, proactive, and a strong team player.
