Job Description

The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.

Job Specification

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

Collecting and compiling data on sales and marketing; Assisting in sales and marketing promotions of Corporation’s products; Assisting in preparing inventory and stock taking of the Corporation’s products; Sorting and dispatching products and other correspondence to the clients/customers; Following up on payments of goods and services delivered to the clients/customers; and Drafting routine marketing correspondences and reports.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: Certificate in any of the following fields: Sales and Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration /Management (Marketing Option) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Certificate in computer application skills. Proficiency in computer application skills.
