About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead the sales function for four restaurant outlets (three located within Nairobi CBD). The role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic B2B sales, corporate client acquisition, and strong marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving strict monthly sales targets, expanding the corporate client base, and leading a team of sales executives while working closely with restaurant unit managers to increase sales across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow revenue across the four restaurant outlets.
● Drive B2B sales, targeting corporate clients, institutions, and organizations for dining, events, conferencing, and outside catering services.
● Identify and secure new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and client relationship management.
● Conduct door-to-door marketing and sales blitz activities to promote the restaurants’ services and offerings.
● Manage and grow an existing corporate client database within Nairobi.
● Lead, supervise, and mentor sales executives, ensuring performance against set sales targets.
● Collaborate with restaurant unit managers to design and implement outlet-specific promotions and campaigns.
● Oversee and implement social media marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
● Monitor sales performance and ensure strict adherence to monthly revenue targets.
● Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to guide management decisions.
● Represent the organization in corporate meetings, networking events, and promotional activities.
Requirements
● Education: Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality sales within a busy upmarket hotel or restaurant environment.
● Proven B2B sales experience with a strong record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
● Must have an established corporate client database within Nairobi.
● Demonstrated experience in door-to-door marketing and sales blitz campaigns.
● Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital promotion.
● Experience leading a sales team with sales executives as direct reports.
● Ability to work closely with restaurant managers to implement outlet sales promotions.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
