Job Description

The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.

Job Specification

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: Compiling, collating and analysing sales and marketing data; Marketing and promoting the Corporation’s products; Carrying out inventory and stock taking of the Corporation’s products; Participating in sales and marketing research; Conducting market surveys to determine customer requirements; Participating in product branding; Following up on payments of goods and services delivered to the clients/customers; Documenting daily sales data for projection and accounting purposes; and Preparing routine sales and marketing and reports.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Sales and Marketing, Marketing, Commerce (Marketing Option), Business Administration/ Management (Marketing Option) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Proficiency in computer application
