Our client, CIO Africa Ltd, is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.


CIO Africa is a leading technology content and insights platform serving senior technology professionals across Africa. Through its publication, online portal, and high-impact industry events, the company delivers the latest trends, insights, and thought leadership shaping the future of technology on the continent.


Are you a natural salesperson who knows how to open doors, build relationships and turn conversations into business?

We are looking for a Sales Executive to help us grow our events and production business by bringing in new corporate clients and exciting projects.


Location: Nairobi | Full-time | Salary: KES 40,000 Net


Responsibilities

  • Find and bring in new business from corporates, agencies, NGOs and other organisations.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and turn leads into paying clients.
  • Sell our events, production, studio, AV, live streaming and technical services.
  • Meet clients, understand what they need and work with our team to put together the right solution.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations and follow up until the deal is closed.
  • Grow existing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work towards agreed sales targets.


Qualifications.

We want someone who is confident, proactive and hungry to make sales.

You should have:

  • 2–3 years' experience in sales, business development, client acquisition or account management.
  • Experience in events, production, media, advertising, hospitality or experiential marketing will be an advantage.
  • A proven ability to prospect, meet clients, pitch, negotiate and close business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence dealing with corporate clients and decision-makers.
  • Good follow-up skills and the ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Events, Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
