Job Summary:
Our client, a prominent and established leader in the East African renewable energy sector, is seeking a Sales Executive - Solar Solutions to drive solar business growth through active lead generation, client engagement, and market development. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, persuasive, and passionate about renewable energy solutions, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Generation and Market Development - Identify, approach and develop new business opportunities, conduct market mapping, generate inquiries and maintain a healthy sales funnel
· Customer Engagement and Conversion - Present the company's products and solutions to clients, and understand customer energy needs
· Market Intelligence and Reporting- Stay updated with market trends, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM or reporting formats
· Coordination and Teamwork - Work closely with design and execution teams, support marketing activities and provide feedback from field on products, pricing and service offerings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration
· 2-4 years of sales experience in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, or Industrial Equipment.
· Proven track record in lead generation and B2B/B2C sales
· Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
· Strong customer relationship management and follow-up discipline
· Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Self-driven, persuasive, and resilient with a strong go-getter attitude
· Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and field work.
