Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to help expand our corporate client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the stationery and office supplies sector.
This is the first sales hire in a planned expansion, offering an opportunity to grow into a larger sales team as the business develops.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and acquire new corporate clients, schools, NGOs, and wholesale customers.
* Promote and sell office stationery, school supplies, office consumables, toners, cartridges, and related products.
* Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations where necessary.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
* Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
* Ensure timely collection of payments from clients brought on board.
* Achieve a monthly sales target of KES 1,000,000 in revenue.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
* Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
* Candidates must have previous sales experience within the stationery, office supplies, or printing sectors.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications.
