JOB LOCATION: NAIROBI & NAROK
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales in assigned territory.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
Client & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers, bars, restaurants, and distributors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Resolve customer queries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Market & Territory Management
- Conduct regular visits to all outlets in the assigned territory to monitor stock levels, product placement, and promotional displays.
- Analyze competitor activity and report trends, pricing, and market feedback to management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, visits, and customer interactions.
Product Promotion & Merchandising
- Ensure products are properly displayed and promoted in stores and outlets.
- Support promotional campaigns, tastings, and brand activations to drive product awareness and sales.
- Educate clients and staff on product features and benefits to boost sales conversion.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations for market growth.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to execute promotions and campaigns.
- Share best practices and market intelligence with the team to enhance overall performance.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; FMCG, beverages, or alcohol industry experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the assigned territory (Nairobi or Narok).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
