Qualifications:-

• University degree in accounting/ finance or other related fields
• CPA (K)

 

Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the chief accountant, senior accountant main role is being able to independently produce monthly management accounts, report on variances and handle entire day to day operations of the department by performing the following:-

• Preparation of timely management accounts
• Supervising accounts/admin team of 8 employees and monitoring accurate recording of financial transactions
• Maintenance/improvement of internal controls
• Payroll & statutory deduction remittance
• Costing, bank reconciliations, maintaining general ledger, handling of debtors and creditors
• Ensuring timely submission of statutory returns
• Facilitation of annual audits
• Developing/running MIS system

 

Experience:   

• At least 2 years working experience in a similar position in a large and busy organization

 

Salary:           

• Expected salary 80,000 - 120,000 plus other generous company benefits
