For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor Degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in teaching methodology course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Been registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council (KMPDC);
- Valid practicing license; and
Proficiency in computer applications.
