Requirements:
Diploma or degree in sales and marketing, business administration, or a related field. Familiarity with hospitality products such as cutlery, crockery, linen, toiletries, and glassware is an added advantage.

Experience:
At least two years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in retail or B2B sales within the hospitality sector. However, other relevant showroom experience will also be considered.

Salary:
KShs. 30,000–35,000 plus company benefits.

Duties:
The showroom sales executive’s main role is to manage day-to-day showroom operations, attend to walk-in clients, generate new leads, process customer orders, and ensure seamless coordination with relevant departments. The role also supports account relationship management within the Coast region and oversees showroom sample management through the following responsibilities:

Showroom management:
Maintain a neat, organized, and presentable showroom environment. Manage and track samples for display and client trials, ensuring availability and proper record keeping. Participate in regular stock-taking and reporting of showroom stock.

Sales and client service:
Attend to walk-in clients (cash and credit), understand their needs, and recommend suitable products. Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely communication with the Nairobi office for deliveries. Support field sales executives in order processing and customer service for clients in the Coast region.

Business development:
Conduct cold calls and client visits to acquire new business within the hospitality sector. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue per customer. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business.

Operations and coordination:
Follow up on orders, stock availability, pricing, and delivery timelines with the Nairobi office. Follow up with clients on collections and ensure collection targets are achieved. Maintain accurate records of sales, customer details, and product movement in the showroom. Make timely and accurate CRM entries and complete daily and weekly reports as required. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
