Social Media Marketing (SMM) Specialist
Job summary
We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing (SMM) Specialist who can create strategic, high-quality content — not just film randomly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online trends and proven experience managing commercial social media accounts, rather than only personal or influencer-style platforms.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement the company’s presence strategy across social media and digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.);
- Create a content plan: posts, copy, visuals, stories, short videos, and graphics;
- Produce engaging content: shoot videos on a smartphone and independently edit them when necessary;
- Manage daily activity: publishing posts, moderating comments, and communicating with the audience;
- Plan and launch social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads; TikTok Ads is a plus), including budgeting, target audience setup, and optimization;
- Analyze KPIs and metrics (reach, engagement, clicks, conversions), prepare reports, and adjust the strategy accordingly;
- Assign tasks to the designer and oversee the visual aspect of the content;
- Collaborate with the marketing team, designers, contractors, and agencies;
- Monitor social media trends, new platforms, and formats, and propose content improvements
- Participate in content shoots and appear on camera for the company’s content, developing a personal presence on behalf of the brand.
Requirements:
- Excellent command of French (strong written and spoken skills — mandatory);
- Experience managing brand social media accounts or personal projects;
- Understanding of visual storytelling and content marketing principles;
- Skills in video shooting and editing (smartphone filming and basic editing tools);
- Confident use of Facebook Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads (a plus), and social media analytics tools;
- Initiative, creativity, and proactiveness — ability to generate and execute ideas;
- Strong sense of trends and engaging content;
- Comfortable on camera — readiness to be the face of the brand, both filming and appearing in videos;
- Ability to work independently and in a team, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
